Active Equine Osteopathy offers an effective, drug-free treatment for your horse. Every treatment is unique and addresses your horse’s specific needs. At Active Equine Osteopathy we focus on the whole horse, as there is normally more to their injury than meets the eye. This method helps to find the root cause of the problem and prevent it reoccurring in the future.
Our Osteopath, Alys Bailey, has worked with horses and riders for many years. She has ridden from a young age and has lots of experience schooling and competing with different horses and ponies to training and breaking young horses.
Alys qualified as a riding instructor over ten years ago and teaches riders of all levels, as well as helping pupils to do their A.I (Assistant Instructor) certificate.
Working closely with your vet will help to establish an effective treatment protocol for your horse. Most Vets now recognise the benefits of Osteopathic treatment for horses.
There is no need to stop any medication that has been prescribed for your horse.
Active Equine Osteopathy can treat all breeds and disciplines of horses and ponies, from first ponies, through to happy hackers and hard working competition horses.
Most horses show a significant improvement in flexibility and pace after the first treatment. A follow up treatment usually takes place around 5 to 10 days later.
Treatment fees are £40 to £55 (dependent upon number of horses treated). Travel is free within 10 miles of Bromley.
